These hand painted ceramic signs come to you from the studio of Ugo Luzzati, "Small Signs", located in the village of Harashim, high atop the mountains of the Western Galillee of Israel.
In Luzzati's studio, every sign is personal and painted with greatest attention to detail. Personalize the sign with your name or a greeting in a beautiful hand calligraphy, in Hebrew and/or English.
Both the design and the text are painted by hand and protected by two layers of lacquer.
When you order, you should specify language, spelling, etc. If you need help with the Hebrew, let me know.
This motif, the Jerusalem Natalie collection, features an artistic depiction of landmarks and buildings of the Old City of Jerusalem. Entwined with the Jerusalem design is a rendition of the "Seven Species", the seven fruits and grains mentioned in the Bible as the foods of Israel. The seven species are wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives and dates.
The Jerusalem Natalie collection is named for the Russian immigrant, Natalie, who designed the motif for the studio, Small Signs.
This motif is available in a number of sizes some of which are available with a Pine frame.
You will be able to specify text after you add the item to your cart and before checkout!
